No town hall, so neighbors run it
Almost everything that happens in Niwot is organized by residents through local groups, and almost every public service comes from somewhere else. Both lists are below.

Who to contact for what
Niwot is unincorporated, so there is no town hall. Services come from Boulder County, the special districts and a water company. Each row names the body responsible and links to its own site.
Waste and recycling collection is arranged household by household in the unincorporated area, and sanitation service varies by address. Ask a neighbour which provider covers your street.
Call 911. For non-emergency county matters, contact the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office directly rather than through this site.

The events calendar lists what has been published, and the Business Association runs much of the public programme — the summer concerts beside the caboose, the market, and the seasonal gatherings in Old Town.
